Melissa Murphy

Office Manager

Melissa was born and raised in the Greater New Orleans area. She graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Melissa completed her senior year internship with Ochsner Health Systems in their Human Resources Department. That is where she discovered her passion for the healthcare industry. Melissa went on to work for a local dermatology practice where she was an integral part of opening several new locations throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Melissa continued to advance in her role with that practice and stepped into the Human Resources Director position where she managed the employees of ten locations.

She then decided to take on a new role as Practice Administrator of a well-established orthopedic practice. During that time, she continued to expand her knowledge of business operations. Melissa was thrilled to bring her years of healthcare experience to New Orleans Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery when she accepted the Office Manager position in July 2018. She finds her position rewarding since she gets to work closely with amazing doctors and staff as well as awesome patients. In her free time, Melissa loves to travel, enjoy live music, try new restaurants and spend time with her dog daughter.
